National Book Day 22 April 2010

For the occassion of National Book Day, Funkor Childart Center facilitated the participation of blind children, from Almaktoom Center for the Visually Impaired Children. Funkor Childart Center is committed to giving equal opportunities to special children. Reknowned artist and children books writer and Executive Director of Funkor Childart Center, Fauzia Minallah introduced the children.

Special songs were prepared by Visually Impaired children for the occasion. Under the guidance of music teacher Muhammad Ayub Bobby children sang 'Har lehza hai Momin' a famous poem of our national poet Iqbal. The young singers were Iqra Noor, Maria Kanwal, Komal Ali, Minahil Amjad, Najam ul Hasan, Talha Shehzad and Nazakat.Talha won every ones heart by singing Sufi Tabassum's ' Tot Batot.
